Project Background
AEC was appointed to act on behalf of the client to design and manage the refurbishment and relocation of existing science laboratories within the college.
Following a detailed feasibility study, it was confirmed that spare capacity within the existing floor area could be utilised to support the delivery of T Level programmes. Underutilised space was converted into two new English classrooms, while four science laboratories and associated preparation and stock rooms were remodelled to meet the specialist requirements of Science and Healthcare Science T Levels.
The completed facilities provide modern, compliant teaching environments that support high-quality technical and academic education.
