Project Background
AEC was appointed to provide professional services for the refurbishment of the roofing at this primary school. The project involved the installation of a completely new tiled pitched roof, alongside renewed eaves, flashings, and underlay to ensure long-term performance and weather protection.
Works included the full removal of existing roof coverings and insulation, where required, to expose the underlying structure and roof deck. Damaged sections of the flat roof deck and supporting roof structure were replaced, improving both structural integrity and durability.
The completed scheme has delivered a robust and resilient roofing solution, enhancing the building’s condition and safeguarding the school environment for the future.
