CIF Outcome 26

At a time when Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) allocations have reduced, AEC is delighted to confirm that we secured more than £100 million in capital funding for our clients in the latest 26/27 funding round.

Only two CIF rounds remaining

With the appeals process now concluded, and only two CIF funding rounds expected to remain before the programme comes to an end, opportunities to secure capital investment are becoming increasingly limited.

These latest results reflect the value of independent technical evidence, strategic estate planning, and early bid development, all of which are becoming important as competition for funding continues to grow.

Thank you to our clients for their continued trust, and to our team for their professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment in delivering another exceptional set of results.

If you are considering a CIF application, now is the time to begin planning. Early preparation is essential to developing a robust, evidence-based submission.

Yet a closer examination of the funding landscape suggests that many cash constrained schools may be underselling their capital needs and, as a result, missing out on the level of investment they genuinely require.
